The First Dream Come True
Merilee Odegard, her husband and 4 boys are all headed to San Francisco this Baseball Season to see the Giants at AT&T Park!
Our dream is to see The Giants play in San Francisco at AT&T Park. The park in San Francisco is supposed to have the best stadium food around, not to mention the Giants play there!!! – We are a family with four boys who are huge baseball fans! Three of the four play competitive baseball. Our oldest just played for fun. We eat, sleep and breathe baseball from May to August, every day of the week during Minor Baseball Season. If the boys are not playing a game or at practice they are watching it on TV, playing it on the PlayStation, throwing a ball around in the backyard or down at the sports store drooling over the gloves and bats. It would truly be a dream come true to see a game in San Francisco!
The Second Dream Come True
Cade Drolet will be getting some help with Electrolysis and Implants as our Week #2 Dream Weaver Winner!
Electrolysis and implants. I’m Transgender, and my ex left me 5 grand in debt. This is something that would surely help me feel better about myself.
This Week’s Dreams
Catherine: Charitable donation to Our House. I have my health, my family, moderate financial security and want for nothing. I read an article about this facility needing some funds to continue their work. I had occasion to speak to a counselor there on behalf of a friend at a critical time. This gentleman does not realize how his sound advice and compassion resulted in a hopeful future.
Kim: My dream weaver dream is to have an underground swimming pool (24×12 feet) – I would like to have a shallow end and a deep end, as I have the back yard to fit it. – As a child I had a pool in our backyard and I have such fond memories of all the fun. I raised 3 boys on my own for many years and before they could all experience the joy of a pool my family decided to fill it in and build a garage. We purchased a home in 2014 with a very huge backyard and I have been dreaming of putting in a underground pool since. I am a Nana of 6 grandchildren and when they come over to play in the summer, I always have those small blow up pools going and they say, “Nana your yard is so big, why can’t we have a big pool like at the pool places?” I tell them every time, my dream would be to build one for them. I love bringing my family together for the fun in the sun, the barbeques, throwing a ball, playing horseshoes and wouldn’t it be just great to also have a dip in the swimming pool?
Tina: 2 bathroom renos – 1 mostly. We are a family of 6 Mom & Dad and 4 teen boys!! and have been sharing 1 bathroom for almost 3 years. We found mold and had to tear out the basement bathroom that at least 2 of the boys used all the time and the other 2 used half the time. Since then we have only framed, put up walls and a partial subfloor just enough to replace the toilet so Mom can at least have that much upstairs to use when I need it. and even then I’m usually fighting for the use and have to go in after the BOYS lol…I think hubby might have got the sink in temporarily so they can at least wash their hands. There is no shower and some of the plumbing needs work. I keep telling them that if they stopped eating then we’d have the money for the bathroom…but BOYS will never stop eating. It would be nice to also be able to redo the upstairs bathroom with a nice soaker tub for this Momma to take a relaxing bath after a long week of work and kids! The tub upstairs is original 1950’s, so if you try to bath your feet are up on the wall
Cheryl: A puppy for my son. My wish is not for me but for my son Aiden. Aiden was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis when he was 3 1/2 years old. He has been so brave dealing with not only the pain from the arthritis but doctor’s appointments, blood tests and taking various medications. Aiden’s dream is to have a dog. He loves them and I feel he is ready to take on the responsibility and deserves to have one after all these years of dealing with his condition. Unfortunately, we need to get a dog that is hyperallergenic and the initial cost can be quite high. It would be amazing if you could make his dream come true.
