Morning Show Producer
I come from the land of ice and snow, the Slurpee capital of the world, Winnipeg. I started going to concerts at an early age, I was 15 when I went to Edgefest 99, an all day festival, unprotected from the heat at the horse track. My love of music started years before that, the first album I purchased was Smashing Pumpkins – Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness, a double album.
While in high school I worked at a national grocery store chain. I learned to interact with the public, as well as eat on the job – both skills I brought with me when I entered radio a few years later.
When I’m not in my sound proof room here at the Capital FM studios, I enjoy snowboarding (poorly) and playing guitar (even worse), as well as going to concerts and watching TV. Since joining Capital, my favourite accomplishment would have to be being on the front of the Edmonton Journal with the ETS Stuff A Bus campaign, which also landed me on several local newscasts!
